There will be two Nia Intensive Trainings in Scotland in April 2012 (near Edinburgh) with Nia First Generation Education Trainer Britta von Tagen. The Nia White Belt is the first level of Nia training and is open to everybody - those who wish to teach and also those wishing to deepen their personal practice. It is a 7 day intensive training.
The Nia Green Belt is an optional belt for Nia White Belt graduates only and is for those who wish to develop their teaching skills. It is a 5 day intensive training.
Professional & Personal Development Paths of the Nia Technique Nia Training is personal, powerful, and will change your body, your thoughts, your emotions, how you live, dance and play. The White Belt is for Every Body, for people who simply want to go deeper into the Nia experience, for personal development. Or for those who want to teach Nia. Many people then add it to an existing repertoire of other healing therapies and/or other fitness qualifications.
The Professional Path Those who want to teach Nia are qualified to do so at the end of the course. Once you have finished the White Belt training, you will be certified to teach as an Apprentice Teacher.
Teaching classes as an Apprentice Teacher is one part of the Continuing Education required to take the Green Belt and to become a professional Nia Teacher. You can choose to take the Green Belt training at any point, once you feel ready. The Green Belt is the second belt on the Nia Professional Path. It focuses on teaching skills. It is designed to improve and refine the embodiment and delivery of Nia. This assures the highest standards of personal and professional success giving graduates industry certification and title of Certified Green Belt Teacher. You can then progress through the belts towards First Degree Black Belt , allowing 12 months between successive belt in order to embody and practice the work of the previous Belt.
The Nia Personal Growth Path after completing the Intensive you will receive the Personal Growth White Belt certificate & can then choose to progress through the other belts, Blue, Brown, Black and First Degree Black as a personal development student. You are not required to teach.
